A Better Chili

The challenge for this story I art directed for The Good Life was to was to make a bowl of chili feel “so fresh and bright it has a certain buoyancy about”, which was inspired by this cover for Gather Journal. We also wanted the spoonful o’ toppings to run life size to let people know just how much of the naughty stuff they’re allowed. I’ve made the pork and butternut chili—its delicious!
